For wisdom is better than rubies, and all the things one may desire cannot be compared with her.

    Proverbs 8:11

Pastor's Corner

I will be sharing this Sunday what God is speaking to me and Vicki for 2017 , last year was a year with many challenges , we are more than over comers , I believe if we will take to heart these words , we will see what we all want for our Church and that is a full house. But it won't come cheap it will cost us everything. Finding and fulfilling your God-given destiny in 2017 is not a matter of chance but choice. You have to make quality decisions on a consistent basis to enter into the personal plan of God for your life.

Fulfilling your destiny is not automatic but begins when you're rooted in the reality that God has a custom-designed destiny for your life. "Your eyes saw me unformed, yet in your book all my days were written, before any of them came into being. Ps. 139:16.

When you are convinced that God has a unique plan for your life, you will break out of mediocrity --this word means "halfway up the mountain," and step out of passivity to fulfill the assigned task that He has ordained uniquely for you.

Obviously, the indispensable first step toward taking hold of your destiny is to make certain that you are, indeed, an authentic Christian. You have, in reality, yielded your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and have no hesitancy declaring it.

Is there real fruit coming out of you, and that fruit should be consistently coming forth at home, work and social life. In other words, you should be maturing week after week and having “aha!” moments with God, not just acting at church.

Quality questions to ask ourselves in 2017...

- Will I affirm the Bible as the authoritative, final authority for every area of my life?

- Will I choose to be a servant of others and die daily to selfish desires?

- Will I persevere in the face of setbacks?

- Will I embrace discipline as non-negotiable in 2017 becoming the person God has called me to be?

- Will I seek to discover, develop and deploy my spiritual gifts and God-given talents?

If we get this, we will go and compel those to come in and fill the house. As a church our goal should be to seek out the lost, so we can share the love and peace that salvation offers.

Here's the deal: God has a tremendous plan for you and will do all He can to help you discover it for His glory. Our church will do as it was called when we get a hold of this. Take to heart what you've read and remember this promise from Jeremiah 29:11: "For I know the plans that I have for you, says the Lord, plans for peace and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." Go for it in 2017!
